Overview:
The Cannes Jeunesse Ethic Etapes International Residential Centre is located within the Fort of the Ile Ste-Marguerite in buildings classed as historic monuments.
Our centre can accommodate groups from all backgrounds and of all ages, at weekends and during school holidays, with or without activities.
The Royal Fort is always on the go and promotes group living. You will be immersed in a hostel or village type atmosphere where respect and social encounters are the mainstays of our commitment.
Open: March to December
Cannes Jeunesse is a public service concession holder for socio-educational and sports activities at the Fort of the Ile Ste-Marguerite. Given the large subsidies from the City of Cannes, a special commitment is made to the residents of Cannes (children and adults) and to the children of the region.
Culture: guided tour of the Royal Fort. By way of a unique itinerary, you will learn about the legends and secrets related to the history of the Fort.
Atmosphere: special meals of your choice (barbecue, aioli, paella, couscous, cold buffet...) in a warm and friendly atmosphere, on the central square of the Fort, just steps from the prison of the Man in the Iron Mask.
Sport: afternoon relaxation on the water with group sailing, catamaran, windsurfing or sea kayak. No need to master water sports; only a sense of humour and motivation need to be brought along.
Nature and Environment: all the benefits of the island, beaches with turquoise water, forests of pine and eucalyptus and so many other discoveries guided by the spirit and the senses... You will appreciate even more the departure of all visitors at 6 pm, leaving you at one with nature.
Courses: We have five classrooms of 60 m2, a room for physical activities (or dojo) of 160 m2 and a 135 m2 video auditorium.
